Reporting Engine Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10/6/26

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Application collects, how it is used, and your choices. The Application is operated by Deception-Labs ("Company," "we," "us").

Contact. Deception-Labs, support@deception-labs.com, for questions or deletion requests.

What we collect. When you connect your QuickBooks Online company, the Application reads accounting records, including customers, invoices, payments, bills, purchases and expenses, with their dates, amounts, names and descriptions. It also receives a company identifier and an access token from Intuit. We also load project, client, quote, purchase order and time data from D-Tools Cloud. We do not collect bank sign-in details, payment card numbers, or your QuickBooks password.

How we use it. We use this information only to build reports and dashboards for the Company's internal business use, such as project profit, invoice status, and sales pipeline. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Read-only. The Application only reads QuickBooks data and never changes it.

Sharing. We do not sell or rent your information. We do not share it with third parties, except service providers that host or secure the Application on our behalf (for example, our hosting and network security providers), who may handle data only to provide those services, or where the law requires it.

Where it is stored. The data is stored in a private database on server equipment controlled by the Company in the United States. Access to the dashboards requires an individual sign-in and verification. The server limits network access, and only authorized people can reach the data.

Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls, sign-in verification, network restrictions, and secure storage of access tokens. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep it. We keep the data for as long as the connection is active and as needed to provide the reports. If you disconnect the Application or ask us to delete your data, we stop collecting new data and will delete the QuickBooks data we hold within [30] days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

Your choices. You can disconnect the Application at any time in QuickBooks Online (in your connected apps), or by emailing us. You can ask what data we hold, or ask us to correct or delete it.

Children. The Application is for businesses and is not directed to children.

Changes. We may update this policy. We will post the new date at the top, and we will tell you about material changes.
